EMS Services, Local and National Media, scanner enthusiasts
and fire buffs. Get alerted to major incidents involving WI
Fire and Police as they happen.
These alerts include freq and talkgroup info so you can
monitor on scanners or dept radios.

When using information procured from our network of
volunteer dispatchers, we ask you to credit one of the
following sources:

- WI Fire Feeds.com
Please credit as if you would be crediting AP, Rueters, CNN
or the like, Our volunteer dispatchers only method of payment
is the credit you offer them when using the information
provided by WIA. Please respect this request.
Posting Guidelines
- WIA is for Wisconsin incidents only, and incidents
involving WI departments on mutual aid calls over the state
line.
- Please read our group rules, and save a copy.
- All members can post, When posting keep in mind that
Firefighters, EMS, Red Cross, Fire Bell, Fire Buffs, Law
Enforcement, Media, Photographers, Scanner & Amateur Radio
Hobbyist will be reading your message.
- Post only incidents that are CONFIRMED by on scene Fire
or Police units, Which of course means don't post anything
you heard dispatched until on scene unit calls into the
Dispatcher and reports what they have.
- Post only major incidents, the type of incidents you
might see on TV news, read about in the paper or would be
worth while for members to monitor.
- In the subject line remember to include the City,
Incident type and time.

- If your posting using wireless device, don't worry about
the subject line, most devices don't have that feature.
- For the message always try to include the address or in
the area of, if you post without the address please send out
a update if you ever do learn location. Include any info you
have about the incident, a short message is ok too "Working
fire in 2 story dwelling" Please don't do a play by play
when posting, do the first in report and any important
updates. No need to post things like units arriving on scene
or FD requesting PD to shut down streets.
- Remember to include the frequencies or talkgroups being
used, or at least the Ch number or name so others in the
group can monitor the action on scanners or department
radios.
- Do not give the address of SWAT situations, you can
mention just what side of the city or district its
in. Never give SWAT officer locations, what they can see or
what they are about to do. You can mention SWAT location
after suspect is in custody.
- This is NOT a Chit Chat or question and answer group,
It's for posting CONFIRMED Incidents and updates only. If
you have final update info try to post it no later then 1
hour after the original post, anything after that can be
posted in the WIA side group WIA2
