About WIFireFeeds.com
We are building a network of totally free scanner feeds
monitoring communications activity throughout the State of
Wisconsin. We currently cover about HALF THE COUNTIES in Wisconsin,
and are continually looking for new additions.
WI Fire Feeds will be much more then fire feeds, we also plan
on adding special event feeds from large festivals, airport
feeds along with breaking news stories.
This is your website, please contact
MKE SCAN if you have additional features you would
like to see added. If you would like to add your feed to this
site, we would be happy to include it. Setting up a feed is
fairly easy to do. Click on the "How-To" link on the menu
section to walk you through the process. In 2009 we would like
to have feeds for the following areas: Wausau / Stevens Point,
Superior, All the State Patrol Districts, All major
Wisconsin Airports (MKE, MSN, GRB, LSE, EAU) and the City of
Milwaukee Police (including the new OpenSKY system).
Somers Fire (Kenosha County) to celebrate 75th
Anniversary

Fire Department in Kenosha Co. is celebrating our 75th
Anniversary this summer. As part of the Anniversary we are
having a large two day festival. I would like to personally
invite all of the members of WIA, WIA2, WIFireFeeds and all your

1. We are having live music, fireworks, food, drinks, kids
games, a fire truck parade and much more.

New Feeds! Sheboygan / Ozaukee!
We are happy to have back some feeds in the East Central part
of the state. We just added a Ozaukee
County and Sheboygan County.
These are separate feeds for each county. They have tons of
capacity from our friends at
Splitech Internet Services.
We thank Mike for working out technical issues and look forward
to filling in the gap in the eastern part of Wisconsin.

Congratulations People and Paws SAR team!
Did you know Southeastern Wisconsin is the home to a
world-class Search and Rescue team? Butler-based People & Paws
SAR has three members that recently have been awarded the top
level of accreditation in the US from SUSAR (State Urban Search
and Rescue). Geoff Gardiner & K9 Gretzky (WI-TF-K9 & IL-TF1),
Deb Krsnich & K9 Jinx (WI-TF-K9), and Scott Peirson and K9 Alex
(IL-TF1) are new Type I CE certified disaster searchers/canines.
The SUSAR Type I Canine Evaluation is identical to that of
their
FEMA counterparts, and between SUSAR and FEMA,
only a small number of K9 teams and handlers nationwide have
attained this level of certification. The difference between
SUSAR and
FEMA is that there are only 28 federally charted
FEMA teams in the US&R system, SUSAR teams fill the void
(or the additional need in several states with
FEMA teams) at the state level. Many excellent teams will
attain the Type II, but fall short of attaining the Type I.
According to Teresa MacPherson, last year alone only 67% of
the Type II teams that attempted the Type I passed.

now offer aviation feeds for the Milwaukee (MKE) and Madison
(MSN) airports. These feeds are NOT from WIFIREFEEDS.com so we
have no control of the uptime or audio quality. Enjoy!

We hope you enjoy the work we have all put into this
project, in the short period of time we have been operating
this site we have grown substantially. Wisconsin Fire Feeds
now features Fire & Police Feeds covering half of the counties
in Wisconsin. We like to thank our VOLUNTEER feed operators
who are often paying for bandwidth costs out of pocket. It is
obvious we could not do it with out them!
We also with to thank our users, they range from most of
the media outlets in Wisconsin, many Fire Departments, Medical
